Bookeasy recently held training workshops in Bass Coast, Victoria which were designed to train the Visitor Information Centre teams and Operators on the new Bookeasy Rooms and Tours consoles.
A special thanks to Lucy at Newhaven for organizing the venue and both Mornington Peninsular and Frankston Visitor Information Centres for making the trip to Phillip Island to join their colleagues from Inverloch, Wonthaggi, Cowes and Newhaven.
Bookeasy recently presented during a series of workshops in Gippsland (Regional Victoria) as part of a co-funded federal government initiative through the T-Qual Grants programme.
Owners of tourism business’s in Gippsland were invited to participate in this year-long project, which includes one on one mentoring with Paul Cooper (Project Office, Creating Smart Connections), web and distribution channel management assessment and ongoing support through webinar, phone and group meetings across Gippsland.

Awards season is well and truly under-way, and we are extremely proud of all our partners who have won awards in their respective states.
Congratulations to the below Bookeasy partners who have won awards in their respective states within the Visitor Information and Services category. The winner from each state awards is now in the entered in to the Australian Tourism Awards, which will be announced in early 2015.
The Bookeasy development team is excited to announce that we are in the final stages of testing the new changes to the internal accommodation search engine within the staff console. The upgraded internal accommodation search engine will be released on 20/11/2014.
The new search engine is a huge leap forward for usability within the system, with user friendly search options, easier access to property information and less steps within the research and booking processes. The new engine has a more linear search process providing an enriched booking experience for staff and customers alike (if using a legacy website).

The greatly desired enhancement to Tour Speed will be ready for action Thursday 05Nov14.
The team at Bookeasy Tourism Solutions have been working well into the nights focussing on a software re-architecture of all things ‘Tours’. This enhancement is due for release this Wednesday night, AEST and will ensure a significant improvement to the performance of all Bookeasy Tour related product.
