“Kununurra Visitor Centre have had a relationship with Bookeasy for some 5 years and it is over the past 12 months that our relationship has grown stronger with the constant review of processes between both of our businesses.

Most recently we have replaced our Point of Sale System (POS) with the ‘Retail’ option available through Bookeasy, which has significantly reduced the costs to the Visitor Centre by way of staff wages and fees associated with the old POS system.

Through our relationship with Bookeasy, we were also fortunate enough to work with Impart Media for the update of our visitkununurra.com website, which was rolled out in November 2015. The assistance provided by the Impart Media team to the Visitor Centre not only provided us with a great new website, but they were also supportive with the ability to work within our extremely tight budget. The result of the new website has seen an increase in online bookings by some 139,000% (One Hundred and Thirty Nine Thousand percent)!

"Our new official tourism website for the Peel Region www.visitpeel.com.au was launched 02 Sep14.

The new website excels by offering a very modern design and quality content and ties perfectly in with the 'Anytime Adventures' brand and campaign. This website was created and developed at record speed within less than 2.5 months (!), right on time for the roll out of our fully integrated media campaign commencing at the end of September.

The conditions of the project have clearly not been easy considering the tight time schedule, the various stakeholder requirements and the fact that Impartmedia is based at the other end of Australia. But the project ran very smoothly.

"At WA Holiday Guide, we've been using Bookeasy since 2006. Starting out small and working with only a couple of Visitor Centres in Western Australia we have utilised the Bookeasy platform to expand our partnerships to almost every Visitor Centre in Western Australia which is great seeing that most Visitor Centres in WA also use the Bookeasy platform.

This is really convenient as it allows us to co-operate with a large network across the state, all on the same system. We've also been able to utilise the development arm of Bookeasy, beDigital, to constantly upgrade our website and integration with Bookeasy. The result is a state of the art, market leading website that continues to perform.

Bookeasy has good flexibility which allows our business to flourish through their innovative affiliate system. We are able to channel all online reservations made on our website through to Visitor Centres instead of processing them in house or on an independent, separate system. This collaboration plugs us into a large support network that allows us to work together on reservations with Visitor Centres and for database support services. Bookeasy is easily one of the largest sources of tourism operator data in Australia and being able to share in and contribute to this large database is highly reqarding.

We keenly recommend Bookeasy to all Visitor Centres in Australia. We have firsthand experience that Visitor Centres using the Bookeasy system have more members and make more commission compared to those Centres going it alone. Being able to share listings from your local area also saves a lot of staff time in preparing and maintaining operator data. The Bookeasy system allows Visitor Centres to receive online bookings 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with the ability for a customer to pay themselves online.”

We wanted our new Visit Esperance website to have beautiful imagery, be easy to navigate on both desktop and mobile devices, contain current information we could update and maintain quickly and simply, as well as make the most of Bookeasy’s customisable capabilities and social media integration tools. What we’ve been able to create with beDigital’s help is 100% better than what we had before, and as a direct result we are seeing a lot more website traffic.

We chose beDigital to work with us on this project as they have extensive experience in understanding the unique needs and challenges of remote, regional areas like ours. They’re also industry leaders when it comes to Bookeasy software, and we needed reassurance that the transition from our old site to the new was going to be as seamless as possible, especially considering we were planning to launch the new website during our busiest tourist time of the year.
