Australian Regional Tourism Network (ARTN) 2014 Convention
Bookeasy were proud sponsors at the recent Australian Regional Tourism Network (ARTN) 2014 Convention. Bookeasy's very own Nathan Bugeja went “speed dating” during an information session that was delivered to the various industry participants of the conference. After the conclusion of 8 rounds of speed dating, participants were provided a great overview and were better informed on the products and services Bookeasy and Tourism Holdings have on offer for regional tourism.
Regional tourism is a vital sector of the Australian economy and key to the sustainability and vibrancy of many of our communities. Nearly half of the nation’s tourism expenditure occurs in regional Australia, equating to more than $18.8 billion in revenue. As well, tourism employs more Australians than mining and more than forestry, agriculture and fishing combined.
