Bookings made on a Reseller's website drop into a nominated Booking Centre's Bookeasy Staff Console and is managed by the Booking Centre, thereby providing an additional revenue stream.

Bookeasy recently released an enhancement to the Reseller Module providing the following functionality:

• Resellers can now self-manage the linking of operators to their Bookeasy Console and website.
• Resellers will now receive email notifications in the event a Booking Centre adds or removes an operator that the reseller has linked to their console/website.

 

 

 Self-Managed Linking

Previously, Resellers needed to contact Bookeasy directly to request new Operators be linked to their console/website, in the event the Operator's Bookeasy Network distribution setting restricted the linking. This process created a bottleneck as the Reseller would already have an arrangement with the Booking Centre allowing them to sell their Operator's product.

As a result of this enhancement, Resellers are now being able to link any Operator to their console, thereby streamlining this process to provide bookable product on the Reseller's website immediately.

 

 Email Notifications 

Resellers will now receive an automatic email notification when any of the following scenarios occur:

• When a Booking Centre ACTIVATES an Operator that is already linked to the Reseller's Bookeasy Staff Console. This notification will advise the Reseller they now have the option to select that Booking Centre as the entity to manage and receive bookings made for that operator on the Reseller's website.

• When a Booking Centre DEACTIVATES an Operator that is already linked to the Reseller's Bookeasy Staff Console. This notification will advise the Reseller of the deactivation, advising them to login to their Bookeasy Staff Console so that they may either select an alternative Booking Centre to manage bookings received, or to deactivate the operator on their own website.

• (WA Holiday Guide Only) If any WA Booking Centre adds or activates an Operator to their own Bookeasy Staff Console, WA Holiday Guide will receive an automatic email notification advising them of the activation so they may connect the operator to their Reseller Console and select that Booking Centre to receive and manage bookings received via the Reseller's website.
